Dit past op alle modellen van de Honda Civic van 1996 tot 2011, Honda CR-V van 1997 tot 2006, Honda Element van 2003 tot 2011 en Honda de Ridgeline van 2006 tot 2014.
Deze vervangende kapontgrendeling is een reparatie voor de OEM-plastic vergrendeling die vaak het uiteinde van de kabel zal barsten en afbreken. Deze is in 5 tot 10 minuten te installeren. Deze verkoop is NIET voor de hele kabel, alleen voor de vervangende vergrendelingshendel die op het uiteinde van de kabel past.

Gefreesd uit een massief blok aluminium.
Deze zwart geanodiseerde aluminium vergrendelingshendel wordt op zijn plaats vergrendeld met 2 stelschroeven, niet alleen 1 zoals de kopie-kat-knock-offs van die mijn oorspronkelijke ontwerp hebben gekopieerd. De stelschroeven, de inbussleutel en schriftelijke instructies zijn inbegrepen.
De normale kabelvervanging zou tussen 1-1 / 2 en 2 uur duren. Deze vervangende vergrendeling kan in een paar minuten worden geïnstalleerd. Het vereist de verwijdering van de plastic hoekschopplaat. Vervolgens moet ongeveer 1 "van het resterende plastic met draadknippers van het uiteinde van de kabel worden afgesneden. (Zie foto.) Schuif het over het uiteinde van de kabel, draai de 2 stelschroeven vast, plaats de plastic hoekschopplaat terug en u zijn klaar.
