I Just Started An Herb Garden And Some Fruits (seed Starting) And I Used This Light Over The Plants. The Herbs Are Growing So Full Now! The Seeds Are Also Starting To Sprout. I Did A Test And Left Some Outside And Some Under This Light And The Ones Outside Have Barely Sprouted And The Ones Under The Light Have Sprouted More. I Tried Propagating With Natural Light For Months And Had ZERO Growth, In Fact, All Of My Leaves Died. I Thought I Would Try Again Using Growing Lights. I'll Be Honest, I Was Very Skeptical Because I Thought I Would Need A Bright White Growing Light But These Were Recommended To Me, So I Thought "why Not?". I Bought These Lights On March 17th And Tried With A New Batch Of Leaves. Within A Month, I Saw Growth!!! (see Picture Taken On 4/11) I've Been Putting The Leaves Under The Growing Lights Almost Every Day For 6hrs -12hrs Depending On How Cloudy It Is Outside. I Just Took A Picture Today And My Leaves Have Been Growing Like Crazy!!! (see Picture Taken On 4/25) My Other Propagated Leaves Have Been Doing Really Great!! (see The Other Pictures Or Propagation Tray). I Started To Put My Other Succulents Under The Growing Lights And They Have All Just Been Flourishing. I Have An Office Fern That Was Looking A Bit Sad Due To Reduced Light Hours During The Winter Months. I Also Wanted To Play Woth Some Moodaccent Lighting Effects, So I Opted For A Red Strip. The Fern Lives On A Repurposed Bookshelf, So I Needed A Low-profile Option. The Adhesive Mounts Worked Great, But Apparently My Office Policies Prohibit Their Use (please Accept My Apologies, Boss ) So I Had To Use Strips Of Tape, Which Arefor Reasons Unknownallowed. Either Way. These Lights Did The Trick. The LEDs Produce Little Heat, So I'm Not Worried About Leaves Being Nearby, Nor Having Them Mounted To A Flammable Surface.
